TOKYO: SUNSHINE BLEND TEA

The Tokyo neighborhood of Daikanyama, is a favorite, with its unique small shops and groovy Williamsburg, Brooklyn vibe: from vintage clothing, its own brewery, a coffee roastery, amazing chicken curry, art galleries...there was one of everything you could ever need or want.

There I discovered Ryotaro Hatanaka, whose massage technique is renowned throughout the city. Ryotaro also blends his own herbal teas and offers them after an a rejuvenating session. We chose his Sunshine Blend, as he promised it would uplift us without needing caffeine.

I marveled at the colors of the blossoms and the floral smell. Like drinking freshly picked flowers. It's restorative and rejuvenating!
