About Susanna Salk

Susanna Salk is the author of many design books. Her first was the unexpected hit, “A Privileged Life, Celebrating WASP Style” (Assouline) which stemmed from her upbringing on Boston’s North Shore. Her next books - all with Rizzoli - celebrate finding tangible and personal inspiration in design, including the bestselling “Be Your Own Decorator” and “Making A House a Home.” Equally popular were “It’s The Little Things: Creating Big Moments in Your Home Through The Stylish Small Stuff” and “At Home in the English Countryside: Designers and Their Dogs.” Salk also published her pictorial memoir, “Trustpassing: Crossing Thresholds and Finding Home.”

Salk hosts and co-produces the internationally-watched “At Home With” video series via the Quintessence channel on YouTube, visiting the homes and gardens of top designers and style makers around the globe.

Salk also created “Susanna Salk Style,” an online boutique featuring some of her favorite finds from around the world as well as the online travel magazine, “Virtual Postcards,” which offers visual inspiration and information from some of her favorite destinations.
